On the first day of your 7-day Tanzania Safari with Kichereko Safaris, you will arrive in Arusha. Our guides will be there to meet you and assist with your transfer to the Marriott Hotel. Take some time to settle in and relax after your journey.
Day 2: Visit Arusha National Park
After a good night’s rest at the Marriott Hotel, you will embark on a full day game drive at Arusha National Park. This park is known for its diverse landscapes, including lush forests, rolling hills, and the magnificent Mount Meru. Enjoy the opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, buffalos, and numerous bird species. In the evening, return to the Marriott Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Game Drive at Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. This park is famous for its large herds of elephants and unique baobab trees. Enjoy a thrilling game drive through the park, where you can encounter lions, leopards, wildebeests, and other fascinating wildlife. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at the Honeyguide Tarangire Camp.
Day 4: Game Drive at Tarangire and Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
In the morning, you’ll have another game drive in Tarangire National Park, giving you a chance to spot any wildlife you may have missed the previous day. Afterward, you will be transferred to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its abundant wildlife, including the “Big Five” (elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, and buffalos). Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at the Bougainvillea Safari Lodge.
Day 5: Visit Ngorongoro Crater
On this day, you will have an exciting adventure exploring the Ngorongoro Crater during a full-day game drive. The crater’s floor is home to a wide range of wildlife, making it a prime location for spotting various species in their natural habitat. Take in the breathtaking views and enjoy the unique experience of being within the caldera of an extinct volcano. After the game drive, depart for the Grumeti area and spend the night at the Soroi Serengeti Lodge.
Day 6: Game Drive in Central Serengeti
Departing from the Grumeti area, you will head to the central region of Serengeti National Park. This part of the park is renowned for its vast grasslands and abundant wildlife, including the annual wildebeest migration. Enjoy a game drive in the central Serengeti, where you might have the opportunity to witness thrilling wildlife interactions. Overnight accommodation will be at the Serengeti Wilderness Camp.
Day 7: Transfer to Seronera Airstrip and Departure from Arusha
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the Seronera Airstrip for your flight back to Arusha. Upon arrival in Arusha, you will have a day room at the River Tree Country Inn, allowing you to freshen up and relax before your next flight home. This marks the end of your memorable 7-day Tanzania Safari with Kichereko Safaris.
